Q: How much do same day teeth cost in Lanark?

Same-Day Fixed Teeth is £13,500 per arch, or from £1,080 a month on 0% finance after a 20% deposit, subject to status. Q: Is All-on-4 the same as teeth in a day?

Not quite. All-on-4 describes how the teeth are held: one fixed bridge on four implants. Teeth in a day describes when they go in: on the day of surgery. Many All-on-4 cases are done as teeth in a day, but on our Healed Foundation and Staged pathways the fixed bridge follows after healing.

Q: Do I need a bone graft for same day teeth?

Often not. Angling the back implants lets them use firmer bone and avoid the nerve and sinus, so many people need no graft. Routine grafting of the sockets is included in the pathway fee; larger bone work is priced separately and shown in your plan.

Q: What do I eat after same day teeth?

Soft food while the implants bond, usually for the first couple of months: soup, eggs, fish, pasta and mashed vegetables. Avoid biting into crusty bread, apples or anything chewy with the front teeth. Once your permanent bridge is in, you can eat normally.

Q: Are same day teeth permanent?

The teeth you leave with are fixed, but they are a temporary bridge. About three months later your permanent bridge is fitted: acrylic / PMMA on Same-Day, or zirconia on a titanium bar on Premium.

Q: Is the consultation for same day teeth free?

Yes. The full-arch consultation is free and includes the CT scan, so you see your own bone on screen and leave with a written plan and a fixed fee. A £20 deposit holds the appointment and is refunded within 7 days of your visit.

Q: Can I have sedation for same day teeth?

Yes. IV sedation is £500 for the first session and £250 for each extra 30 minutes. You stay conscious but deeply relaxed, a second trained team member monitors you throughout, and an adult needs to take you home. Our sedation page has more.

Q: How long does the same day teeth appointment take?

Most of a day. Surgery for one arch takes a few hours, then there is a break while your temporary bridge is adjusted and fitted. Both arches take longer, and we agree the timings with you beforehand.

What Same Day Teeth Means

Same day teeth is a way of doing full-arch implants. Rather than healing for months in a denture, you leave the surgery with a fixed row of teeth screwed onto four to six implants. They don't come out at night and need no adhesive. That is what people mean by fixed teeth in a day.

The teeth fitted on the day are a strong temporary bridge in acrylic. Over the next three months or so the bone bonds to the implants, and then your permanent bridge is made from an iTero scan and fitted in its place. "Same day" means fixed teeth from the first day, not treatment finished in a day.

Who It Suits, and Who It Doesn't

Often a Good Fit

Your teeth are failing, loose or broken down, and you'd rather not heal in a removable denture

Your CT scan shows enough bone to hold the implants firmly as they go in

You're well enough for a long surgical appointment, with or without sedation

You can keep to soft food for the first weeks and come to the reviews

When We'd Suggest Another Route

Soft or thin bone, where the implants won't be firm enough to carry teeth straight away

Heavy smoking, which slows healing and raises the risk of an implant failing

Uncontrolled diabetes or active gum disease, which are treated before any implants

Heavy grinding, which can overload new implants while they heal

Whether the teeth go in on the day is only certain at surgery, once Dr Kalsi can see how firmly each implant holds. Your written plan sets out the alternative, and your pathway fee stays the same. ²

The Day Itself

Most of one day at the practice, planned in advance so your temporary teeth are ready before you arrive.

Morning: Settling In

Local anaesthetic numbs the jaw, and IV sedation is there if you'd like it.

Extractions and Implants

Teeth that can't be kept come out, and four to six MegaGen AnyRidge implants go in at the positions planned on your CT scan.

Afternoon: Your Fixed Teeth

Once the implants are firm, the temporary bridge made from your scans is adjusted and screwed into place.

Home the Same Day

You leave with fixed teeth. After sedation, an adult takes you home and stays with you.

About Three Months On

Your permanent bridge is fitted once the implants have bonded to the bone.
