Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5.30pm, and Friday, 9am to 5pm. Closed at weekends.

Parking
Council car parks at Bernards Wynd (entered from South Vennel, with two disabled bays beside the close to the High Street) and at Castlegate are a short walk away, and there is time-limited parking on the High Street.
Buses
Buses stop at Lanark Interchange, off Bannatyne Street: the 240X from Carluke, the 191 from Biggar, the 37 from Carstairs, the 34 from Forth, and the 8 and 8A from Lesmahagow and Kirkfieldbank.
Rail
Lanark station, Bannatyne Street, a few minutes' walk from the High Street, with ScotRail trains to Glasgow Central. Lanark station has trains to Glasgow Central.
Access
If you use a wheelchair, push a pram or find stairs hard, mention it when you book and we'll plan your visit with that in mind.
