A Natural Smile, Front On
Face a window during the day with the flash turned off. Give a relaxed smile, like you would for a holiday snap, rather than a strained one.
Teeth Closed, Lips Held Back
Close together on your back teeth and, with clean fingers, ease your lips back gently so we can see your gums and the biting edges.
A Side View
Smiling side-on lets us see whether the front teeth push forward or lean in. Ask someone to take this one for you if you can.
Add a sentence or two too: what you'd change, whether anything is sore, and whether you feel anxious about the dentist. It means we can give you a useful reply.

Want to take things further? Book a free consultation at our practice on Lanark's High Street. For implants, bonding or a smile makeover we ask for a £20 deposit, refunded within 7 days of your appointment; Invisalign consultations need no deposit. Please give us at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or move your appointment. We only hold on to the deposit if you don't attend and haven't let us know.
During that appointment we give your teeth a full examination and take whatever scans your treatment calls for. You leave with a written plan and a fixed fee to consider in your own time.
