What Does Invisalign Cost in Lanark?
Invisalign at Lanark Smile Studios runs from £3,250 for the Lite package up to £4,750 for Comprehensive Plus, with Moderate at £3,750 and Comprehensive at £4,250 in between. Scans, X-rays, refinements, Vivera retainers, home whitening and a hygiene visit are built into every fee, and yours is confirmed in writing before treatment starts. Your package depends on the distance your teeth need to travel, not on the number of visits. When the fee is agreed in your written plan, it doesn't change. 1
Included in Every Fee
The items other practices often bill on top are already inside each Invisalign package:
- your iTero scan, simulation and X-rays
- every aligner the package covers
- refinements: further aligners at the end if a tooth or two needs perfecting
- Vivera retainers when treatment finishes
- custom-tray home whitening
- one hygiene appointment
Priced on their own, the retainers, whitening and hygiene appointment alone would come to £950. That's Vivera retainers at £530, home whitening at £350 and a 30-minute visit to the hygienist at £70.

Which Package Fits Your Teeth?
Your scan settles it, so there's no need to work it out yourself. Even so, a ballpark helps with budgeting before you visit.
- Lite commonly suits people who wore braces as teenagers and can see a lower tooth or two drifting forward. It usually lasts a few months. It also stretches slightly further: one front tooth overlapping its neighbour or a gap that shows when you smile.
- Moderate deals with crowding across several teeth, or a minor overbite corrected along the way.
- Comprehensive is for people who've never had orthodontic treatment and have obvious crowding top and bottom. Plan on a year to eighteen months.
- Comprehensive Plus is reserved for the most demanding movements that aligners can still achieve well.
If your examination shows the issue lies mainly in how the jaws sit, aligners might be the wrong tool altogether, and we'll tell you that plainly instead of offering a package.
Local Prices Compared
Search for Invisalign in Lanark and, as of October 2026, no Lanark practice website appears in the results, while searches for Biggar, Lesmahagow or Clydesdale bring up no dental practice website. Across Lanarkshire more widely, practice websites we looked at that month mostly advertised Invisalign from roughly £2,750 to £4,750, with complex cases priced above that. Those are opening figures, and many exclude the retainers, whitening or refinements, which can add several hundred pounds by the finish.
Our Lite fee sits within that local range and includes all three. The bigger packages cost more because they involve far more movement, not because of add-ons. All our fees are published on our price list, so any quote you're given can be held up against it.
Our group has held Invisalign Diamond Apex status in every year from 2022 to 2026. Align Technology bases it on case numbers, awarding it to the top 1% of providers in Europe. It tells you we carry out a lot of aligner treatment. It is not a qualification, and it does not make anyone an orthodontist.
When a Cheap Quote Isn't Cheap
Two things account for most of the gap between quotes. One is refinements. Real teeth seldom follow a digital plan exactly, so a further round of aligners towards the end is common, and where each round is charged, a low opening price climbs. The other is retainers. You'll need them for life, and a quote that leaves them out leaves the most important part of keeping your result unpaid.
Watch for single-arch pricing too. Treating just the top or just the bottom teeth suits some people, but if your bite needs both, a one-arch figure won't give you a fair comparison.
Paying for Treatment: A Fixed Fee in Writing
The fee for your package is set out in your written plan before any aligners are ordered, and payment is due as treatment progresses. Because refinements and retainers already sit inside it, the figure you agree at the start is the figure you pay by the finish.
Dental plan discounts don't extend to orthodontic treatment, so Invisalign costs the same whether or not you're a member. Membership does cover routine hygiene visits, which is handy while you're in aligners.

Our written plan answers every one of these before you begin. If a quote from elsewhere looks cheaper, run it through the same six questions first.
Costs Outside the Package
It helps to know where the package ends. Treatment needed before aligners can begin, such as fillings, gum treatment or an extraction, is charged from our fee list and explained at your consultation. The same goes for bonding or veneers you might choose afterwards to rebuild a chipped or worn edge.
Your first set of retainers is included. If they're lost on a trip years later or chewed by the dog, the replacement is charged. And if retainers are abandoned and the teeth relapse enough to need aligners again, that's a fresh course, though often a short Lite one.
How We Arrive at Your Fee
At your free consultation, Dr Kalsi or Dr Gray examines your teeth and gums, takes an iTero scan and talks you through a simulation of your possible result. The amount of movement planned determines the package. You leave with the fee in writing and no obligation to go ahead.
